What we collect and why

We collect your email address, any company, role, volume and workflow details you choose to provide, the page you submitted from, and the time and version of your consent. We use these details to assess demand, discuss your workflow and contact you about WorkSteps early access and onboarding. Our basis for this contact is your consent. Registering does not subscribe you to updates for other products.

Where the information goes

Contact and workflow details are encrypted in the application database. Access is limited to the people operating the service and the hosting providers needed to run it. We do not sell your details or submit your workflow description to an AI provider. This form does not send an automatic email or create a product account.

How long we keep it

Early-access records are scheduled for deletion 365 days after submission unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Duplicate submissions do not extend that period. If you become a customer, service records will be covered by the arrangements agreed at onboarding. Infrastructure logs and backup copies have separate operational retention; a restored backup must have expired and previously deleted records removed before use.

Cookies and abuse protection

This site uses necessary session and security cookies for the form and validation messages. A temporary protected network identifier is used to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with your early-access record. Hosting access logs may contain connection information.

Optional analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to our pages. The Google tag stays off until you accept. Google receives page views, browser and device details, connection information and cookie identifiers. Our events use fixed page names and do not include query strings, fragments, email addresses or the contents of your enquiry. Referrers are reduced to their origins. Advertising personalisation is disabled.

Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for 180 days on this site. If accepted, host-only Google Analytics cookies also last up to 180 days. Use Analytics settings at the bottom of any page to withdraw consent; we then disable collection and remove those cookies. Rejecting analytics does not affect the service or your interest form. Your choices

You can withdraw consent and ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing contact@smartfact.ai. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. Please do not include confidential orders, personal customer data or proprietary instructions in the workflow field.
